For film certification fill up common application form online at ecinepramaan portal by logging to ecinepramaan portal using your login credential
Make the payment of fees as applicable. Fees can be ascertained by using the fees calculator
On payment of requisite fees, submit the application online at e-cinepramaan portal
You can check the status of the application at cinepramaan portal by logging to ecinepramaan portal using your login credential
In case of any observation reported by CBFC officials take necessary corrective action as applicable.
After corrective action, resubmit the application form with updated details

The time limits set down for various process of certifications as per Rule 41 of the Cinematograph Act, 1952 are as follows :

Scrutiny of Applications	7 Days
Formation of Examining Committee	15 days
Forwarding the EC Report to Chairman	10 days
Communication of the order to the applicant	3 days
Surrender of cuts by the producer	14 days
Examination of cuts	14 days
Issue of Certificate	5 days
Total Time Limit	68 days
